Robert J. McCarthy

I was sorry to hear about Robert J. McCarthy passing. Bob was a "great guy". A true Democrat, loved his friends, adored Senator Dianne Feinstein and Senator Barbara Boxer. I will miss his smile, his inside knowledge of politics and we will miss seeing him at the Election Day lunches with Angelo Quaranta. We will have to have a "big bash" on election day to honor Bob.
Condolences to his wife, Suzanne and all his children.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at St. Ignatius church, 650 Parker Ave., San Francisco. It will be followed by a vigil service at 8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. Ignatius.
