Would you please do me a favor ?

The Board of Supervisors will be back on Tuesday (that is a good thing). The convention is over - so would everyone please focus on the crime and murder in our city? Six dead bodies in the Mission in the last two weeks?

I know there is an election going on, I know there is a police report coming out with suggestions about reforming the Police Department - but we can't wait.

One of the best places to find information about crime/murders is through www.blogsf.com - as the bloggers try to pass on the information as fast as possible .

May we hear from someone now? Will someone speak up for us - it's called moral leadership.
No press conferences, (enough with green - right now we need to deal with red - blood!).

I am asking the Mayor, the District Attorney, the Police Department, the Police Chief, the Police Commission, all the candidates running for office - please speak up - now - demand that something be done .

San Franciscans wants leadership, they are willing to help - we need a plan.

Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval should not be condemned for standing up for his constituents.

I applaud District Nine for putting on a debate on October 7, 2008 - if you go to their website www.d9debate.com you can review the questions that people are asking to be asked at the debate.

I just received a feed http://evpa.org/node/53 written by Scott Weiner about a Castro/Duboce Community Safety Forum:" Let's Keep Our Neighborhood Safe for Everyone" on November 6th at the Eureka Valley Rec Center . The forum is sponsored by Castro Community on Patrol, DTNA, Eureka Valley Promotional Association, and Merchants of Upper Market and Castro focusing on the Castro and Duboce Triangle safety.

Everyone needs to help. If you send me information I will post it in this blog. Please forward to: mission2894@gmail.com

Thanks,

Linda Post
