Board of Supervisors from my bed.

I have been sick all week with a cold so for the first time I watched the Board of Supervisors on TV while in bed. I haven't watched it on tv (Channel 26) before because I thought it was like cheating - but to my surprise it's better than being there in person.

First of all it is more comfortable, you can go eat, get something to drink, put on the mute button when you want. You can actually see more - I was surprised that the camera moves around, I saw Eric Mar was in the audience. This was David Campos first meeting as a Supervisor.

And then, in comes the Mayor - shock! He walked in by himself and just starting talking with no notes. It's nice to see the mayor interacting with the Board of Supervisors. This budget crisis has brought Mayor Newsom back into governing San Francisco - here is a chance for everyone to work together. The Board was on their best behavior - sort of (Daly wanted a simple answer). I hope the new Board will have a better working relationship without all the sniping back and forth.
