Marshall Ganz - "leadership matters"

Many of us had the honor Sunday night to hear Marshall Ganz discuss his book ""Why David Sometimes Wins: Leadership, Organization, and Strategy in the California Farm Worker Movement"

He started out by saying "it was nice to be home". "I have many circles in this room". Loyal friends and supporters overflowed Delancey Street Crossroad Cafe to hear him speak. From the California Farm Workers Movement, Nancy Pelosi campaign to Barack Obama he has helped people organize over the years.

His book is about looking at the past and looking forward with the "rising generation". "We need people to step up. Belief of the possible not the probable".

Well worth your time to read and "recharge"!

"Why David Sometimes Winds: Leaderhship, Organization, and Strategy in the California Farm Worker Movement" Book is published by Oxford University Press
