Norm Rolfe - Sad news

Posted by Picasa

I am sorry to report that Norm Rolfe has passed away this last weekend. Norm was San Francisco's long-time top Transit community activist - never missing a meeting.

When you "google" Norm you come up with items about the Transbay Joint Powers Authority Citizens Advisory Committee, SFMTA Citizens Advisory Council, Presidio Parkway and of course his continuing involvement in San Francisco Tomorrow, SPUR and District Three Democratic Club.

Memorial service information pending. I will post information as soon as possible.

San Francisco was honored to have Norm Rolfe as our friend.

Picture above was taken in July 2009 at the Geary Bus Rapid Transit meeting - Sue Vaughan, Norm Rolfe and Supervisor Eric Mar.
