Nancy Pelosi - "As Good As It Gets"!

On Sunday, August 21st, Woodland Avenue once again  held a fundraiser for Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Leader U.S. Congress with proceeds to be spent on Democratic candidates throughout the United States to defeat a far right Repubican agenda.

Nancy Pelosi considers Agar Jaicks' her home base.  When she walked in the door the first thing she said was "Where is Agar"?.  Agar Jaicks was the Chair of the San Francisco Democratic Party when Nancy first arrived in San Francico - they have been best friends ever since.

The Sunday Brunch was a huge success spreading out to the back yard.  As always, Agar Jaicks and Jane Morrison were in charge with State Senator Mark Leno, Assemblymember Tom Ammiano and John Burton - the State Chair of the California Democratic Party  making  opening remarks.

No one is a better person to spur you on then Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi!  See link below with her rousing speech at the brunch.
