Philosopher's Way Dedication and Walk

Where: Meet at McLaren Park, San Francisco at the trailhead by the Mansell and Visitacion Avenues parking lot.
What: Join artists Susan Schwartzenberg and Peter Richards and City officials to celebrate the dedication of the new public artwork in McLaren Park, the Philosopher's Way. This public dedication will include a brief ceremony and artist-led tours of the route. Designed along the style of the Kyoto, Japan and Heidelberg, Germany's Philosopher's Walks, the McLaren Park Philosopher's Way utilizes the 2.7 mile trail that loops throughout the park. Walkers can contemplate at fourteen musing stations, which include benches, plaques offering a quotation, breathtaking views of the bay, the natural vistas of the park and cityscape.
