What: Opening Reception of the exhibit "Marching Through History with Cesar Chavez and the Farm Workers". A Photo Documentary by Cathy Murphy. Sponsored by the Labor Archives and Research Center, exhibit captures life in the fields and on the line for Cesar Chavez and members of the United Farm Workers (UFW). Cathy Murphy was an official UFW photographer and was very close to Chavez and her intimate images offer a human portrait of this iconic hero. Featuring slide show presentation and music by San Francisco State's own Dr. Loco (aka Latina/Latino Studies Professor Emeritus Jose Cuellar). Light refreshments.
