Meet in the Middle 4 Equality!



















This Saturday in Fresno, California forces are joining together to show unity of all people - gay and straight alike.  Join them  in taking  their vision back to their own communities where we can work together to change our world to include federal level equality, access and justice for all.

What: Begin a new movement toward full equality for LGBT people and their families.  Unite all progressive, equality-loving people in the state of California for one day to celebrate the dignity and value of every human being.

Northeast Embarcadero Study Community Workshop

What: At the request of Supervisor Chiu, the Planning Department is initiating a study of the Port properties on the west side of The Embarcadero between Washington and North Point streets that are currently being used as parking lots.  The study will result in design guidelines and plans for improving the public realm.  At this workshop they will introduce the process, discuss the public issues and concerns, and set the vision and goals.  All residents, business owners, and others with an interest in the waterfront are invited to attend.
