Rally Monday afternoon in front of City Hall supporting MTA Transit Justice Package proposed by Supervisor John Avalos.
The supervisors have a chance tomorrow to consider rejecting MTA Budget if Package of Fare Roll-backs, service restoration and Revenue Enhancements are not enacted. The proposed Transit Justice Package proposes increased parking fees in certain parts of the City on Sundays and evenings, eliminating public subsidy in the City's parking garages, rolling back some fare increases and safeguarding access for low income MUNI riders.
Supervisor Sophie Maxwell seems to be the swing vote. Please contact the Supervisor and let her know your support for the MTA Transit Justice Package proposal.
