On Thursday evening I attended San Francisco Labor Council's Annual COPE event honoring the beloved Dennis and Hene Kelly held at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center.
Dennis and Hene Kelly were being honored for their years of work for the United Educators of San Francisco, for their contributons to the Labor Movement, Education and to our Community.
State Senator Mark Leno, President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors David Chiu, Tim Paulson - Executive Director of the San Francisco Labor Council and Conny Ford, OPEIU 3 all spoke in honor of this terrific couple.
Dennis and Hene did a wonderful joint speech which I hope you will take a moment to see. ( very funny, smart, lots of history).
