Women's Democratic Women's Forum and Irish American Democratic Club - Endorsement Meeting - Held at 455 Golden Gate Avenue in the State Building. Large crowd with both the Migden and Leno people bringing out their supporters.
State Senator Migden was strong and fiercely believes she has done an excellent job and should be re-elected. Assemblyman Mark Leno was charming and stood away from the podium when speaking- both candidates have loyal supporters.
Both of these clubs are very "issues" orientated and their were many questions asked of everyone. What is nice about this election is that "real people" speak for their candidates for President of the United States. You can tell these people have taken time our of their lives because they believe in their candidate. It is nice to see new faces.
Both Jeannie Maher, the President of the Irish American Democratic Club and Lorrie Kaos, President of the Democratic Women's Forum did an excellent job of organizing the meeting.
