Potrero Hill Democratic Club - District 10 Supervisor Forum

On Monday,  August 2nd and Tuesday, August 3rd I had the honor of attending 2010 District 10 Supervisor Candidate Forum sponsored by the Potrero Hill Democratic Club.

It was sort of like "Ground Hog's Day"- same place, same time, same people - different candidates.

An opportunity to hear 15 candidates giving opening statements and discuss important issues including Lennar/Bayview and Jeff Adachi's Pension Reform legislation.

Monday night we heard from Malia Cohen, Kristine Enea, Nyese Joshua, Steve Moss, Eric Smith, Lynette Sweet and Stephen Weber.

Tuesday night we heard from Isaac Bowers, Chris Jackson, Espanola Jackson, Tony Kelly, DeWitt Lacy, Geoffrea Morris, Diane Wesley Smith and  Marlene Tran.

The program moved fast with the help from the  very capable moderator Keith Goldstein.  Potrero Hill Democratic Club should be thanked, including the President Joni Eisen and the Board, for putting together one of the "first glances" at the District 10 candidates.

District 10 is at the beginning of "big changes" in the district - it was encouraging to hear from so many energetic, competent, articulate candidates for this very important election.
