Exec. Board - CA. Democratic Party

Went to Democratic Executive Board meeting at the Westin in Millbrae, Saturday afternoon.

A serious meeting mainly because of DNC vote on Sunday morning. Being on the DNC is perceived as being much more important than before because of the superdelegate status and the possibility of voting on changes in the way Presidential races will be run in the future.

San Francisco candidates include Darolyn Davis (Belva Davis' daughter); Christine Pelosi, Alicia Wang (candidate for Supervisor in District One); August Longo - who was handing out jelly beans with sticker "Longo 4DNC (line 19)". "Support Diversity".

I saw Rosalind Wyman, who looked fabulous - she was introduced as the person who brought the Dodgers to Los Angeles from Brooklyn (when she was on the Board of Supervisors in Los Angles - long time ago).

Barbara Deutsch ran as "Blue's Mom" - Blue is her dog!

I was wondering how the Presidential campaign will affect the outcome of the DNC election? Resentment from the two sides?

I found out that Alicia Wang has opened a campaign office already at 15th Avenue and Geary. (First campaign office of the new season?)
