Prop A Rally - Dolores Park Saturday morning, a beautiful day to show off this glorious park. How can you beat the view, kids and dogs all in one place? Supervisor Bevan Dufty did a great job chairing the rally introducing State Senator Carole Migden, Assemblyman Mark Leno, Supervisor Mirkarimi and Supervisor Sandoval. Yomi Agunbiade, the General Manager for Park and Rec spoke reminding us to vote because a two-thirds vote is needed.
Donald Strickland from the 49er's spoke. He talked about growing up in San Francisco and using the parks for recreation and sports. As he correctly pointed out San Franciscan's don't have a lot of backyards to play in which makes parks even more important. He said his mom was glad he could get out and let loose with all that extra energy he had. To this day Strickland uses the park facilities to workout.
