Thursday was the swearing in of Dennis Herrera as City Attorney at City Hall. As you have probably heard, there was an outstanding turnout of people - including Mayor Gavin Newsom, Willie Brown, Art Agnos, Frank Jordan, District Attorney Kamala Harris, Bill Lockyer, Tim Paulsen, Aaron Peskin, Art Torres and "star of the day" - Dennis Herrera's 8 year old son Declan speaking in English and Mandarin "I know you'll do great".
John Perez the new Speaker of the Assembly voted in on Thursday drove down from Sacramento to give a "ringing endorsement" for Dennis Herrera.
Very impressive.
